Founded in 2017 by Khun Mam—Rinanya Srinuan, this cacao farm is one of the oldest and most renowned high-quality cacao plantations in Thailand. Located in Thung Song District, Taluang Cacao is more than just a farm—it represents a sustainable agricultural model and a fully integrated cacao processing system, empowering local communities to add value to their produce from start to finish.

Meet the Farmer Behind Your Cacao: Taluang, Nakhon Si Thammarat
The story of the cacao that ends up in your cup at Cacao Everywhere
Every great cup of chocolate drink starts somewhere. For one of the origins we're most proud to feature in our #BYCD "Build your own Chocolate Drink" menu, that somewhere is a small farm in Thung Song district, Nakhon Si Thammarat — in southern Thailand.
The farm is called Taluang Cacao. The person behind it is Khun Maam (Rinnya Sri-nuan), who started the operation in 2017 with a clear vision: to build a fully integrated cacao farm that could control quality from the tree all the way to the end product.
What Makes Taluang Cacao Special?
It's not just a farm. It's a complete operation — growing, fermenting, drying, and processing all happening on-site. That level of control is rare, and it shows in the flavour.
Taluang cacao from Nakhon Si Thammarat has a distinct character: rich and rounded, with notes of roasted nuts, caramel, and a hint of dried fruit. It's deep without being bitter, complex without being overwhelming.
The farming approach is sustainable by design — because Khun Maem built it that way from the beginning, not as an afterthought. The goal was always to add value at the community level, not just grow beans and ship them elsewhere.
